Book of Marks online class

Let’s make this fun and interesting artist’s book!  Students will practice mark making with waterproof  ink on a full size sheet of watercolor paper. There will also be an introduction to some gesso techniques combined with inks or watercolor  . Asemic writing will be featured on some of the pages of the book. Our large sheet of paper will then be folded, cut and bound into a 16 page book form.This book has all kinds of opportunities to get creative.  Areas may then be enhanced with collage papers and watercolor pencils. We’ll practice Asemic writing and get some tips on actual handwriting to fill our book with our favorite words!  Hole punching, page tearing and collaging all make this interesting book form into a work of art.
