The Painted Collage

Feel the joy of creating your own original collage painting in an experience guided by a Golden Certified Teaching Artist! Jacqueline Sullivan is an expert in the art of acrylic mixed media. In this class, she will guide you in combining the art of Abstract Acrylic painting with the art of collage. Class content will include color studies, instruction on various mediums and ways to create your own collage papers. Do you like imagery in your collages? This class will touch on the best type of images and the best way to prepare those images for collage. This five-day class is the perfect opportunity to refine and build your skills in both painting and collage. 

Supplies Provided: Paint: Instructor will provide 6 – 8 colors of Golden Fluid acrylics. Feel free to bring any of

your own paints that you would like to use.

Mediums: Instructor will provide Matte Medium for gluing collage materials

There will be no supply fee for this workshop.

Students Bring:

Gesso: 8 oz. or more of white gesso

Acrylic Ink: black and white for mark making

Sketchbook or white heavy weight text weight paper: for creating marks and patterns

Imagery: any that you would like to use Canvas: at least 3 stretched or wooden panel boards
